I’ve decided to start blogging after seeing Marzia’s blog and liking it so much. I often share pictures on my Instagram, but I never end up putting good enough captions on them because I always want to write more and I feel that none of my followers actually read- they just double tap and scroll on (that’s what I do). So I thought I’d post some here and actually get to explain in detail what’s going on and how I’m doing. I’m at an amazing point in my life right now, so things could get very interesting on here…
Enjoy!
P.S. The photo I chose to include in my first post is also my icon for this blog. In case any of you are wondering, I don’t wear any face makeup but I have an addiction to YesTo face wipes (blueberry, grapefruit, and/or most recently cotton) and I moisturize with Aveeno everyday. The look above is my natural hair with 3-minute miracle by Aussie in it (which is just a leave-in conditioner sort of thing, not styled with mousse like I normally do). I had just done my eyebrows. I wax/tweeze them once a week, and that’s no makeup just natural Italian brows. I curled my lashes and applied a single coat of the Colossal Cat Eyes mascara by Maybelline, but no signature cat eye liner in this look (rare). For that I always use the felt tip Master Precise by Maybelline. Since this look was very naked and raw, I decided to try out my new Crayola-inspired mini Clinique chubby sticks on my lips. The color I used is Brick Red and I’ve got to admit I was feeling myself in it (not one to like red lips, at least on myself ever). Let me know what you think in the comments or if you have any questions!
I’ve just found your blog and can totally relate. I have just started a blog myself ๐ I hope all goes well sweet X x

Thank you! Yeah, I never got into wearing face makeup and I probably won’t start cause I’ve had a lot of friends ruin their skin cause they didn’t know what they were doing. Don’t get me wrong, I admire the hell out of girls that can do it well cause they look flawless and are fierce (: I’m just lazier I guess xoxo

Hi there Shannon! I’m on a blogging mission right now to read all the posts my favorite bloggers have written, and I’ll be starting at the beginning and working my way to the present. ๐ just thought I’d give a bit of an explanation as to why you’re suddenly getting lots of comments! ๐ I hope you’re having a great evening. x

Can I just say that I’m soooo jealous of your eyebrows?? ๐๐ I wish that mine looked as great as yours do!! Mine are almost always too thin and short on the sides and it’s so sad ๐ I just got a brow pencil that looks great, which is awesome, but nothing beats having naturally shaped, nice looking eyebrows xx

Thank you! Trust me, it took ages (close to 20 years) to get them how I like. I went through lots of awful phases before they ended up this way haha from way too skinny for my face to quite thick and too long! I appreciate your comment xoxo

Yes, some people have their emo phase- I had skinny eyebrows that didn’t look right with my face at all haha they work great on my sister though!
