FDotP 2018

Hellu,

It’s that time of year again, time for fairs and farm animals! Justin and I attended Field Day of the Past again- which is a local fair with some of the best cow babies around. Take a look….

We got there around lunchtime and the event was already filling with people ^ we went straight for the animals! They have all kinds of cuddly creatures there, but as you probably know by now- my favorite are the cows. They had big angus boys for us to pet and they were so CALM with some of them even falling asleep…

While we were petting the big cows, the helpers were taking the smaller cows away to be shaved ^ and you can see how sleepy one of the angus cows was- totally flat out! They also had a lil baby cow that was super soft, it was just laying there beside the guy like a pet dog haha adorable (:

We did make our rounds to the other animals of course ^ like the horses, mules, other types of cows, alpacas, ducks, geese, chickens, goats, and sheep! They really have just about anything you can find on a farm and most of them are in petting range in their enclosures.

The rest of the day we spent walking the grounds and exploring the exhibits they had going, doing a bit of shopping at the stalls ^ it was such a chill, enjoyable time as always. Justin and I wore our matching Tsuki shirts: mine the long sleeve and his short. We got milkshakes at the big barn and they were delicious! Then I slayed him in checkers after we picked up some Cheerwine at the garage (:

I can’t wait to go again next year. Is there a local fair you go to? Or is there a big state one you have to travel to attend? Let me know in the comments and thanks for reading!

  1. How fun!! The little cows are so sweet, hehe (:
There’s a state fair about an hour south of where we live every year. We went back in 2010, but aside from getting to interact with different animals in the tent near the front, the other activities and events they had going on left much to be desired. That’s why we haven’t gone back :/ I’d love to visit yours someday!

    1. I totally get that! The cows are the main reason I like it, so it’s nice that admission is like $10 but Justin’s parents have actually bought tickets for us the past 2 years cause they know it’s where we met. They’re very thoughtful 💛
